Hi, again

What feels like an eternity and just like yesterday all in one has been over four years since the last time I created in this space. Please forgive me if I stumble a bit; I'm rediscovering the art of adult conversation after years of baby talk and toddler antics.

What started out as “Southern Modern Mom” 7 years ago has evolved just as well, I have. The past 7 years have taken twists and turns no one could predict but i’m thankful for each and every step to lead me right back to where it all started.

If you’re new here, Hi! Im Angie, lover of all things real mom life + design. When the two can coincide it makes my heart happy and I believe with my whole heart you can live a beautiful life and still have kids.

For those that have been here since the beginning, thank you. Thank you for being here, sticking with me through the silence trying to figure out life as a young mom.

Allow me to introduce to you the new and improved "The Simplified Family." Back then, I thought I had it all figured out at 24, newly married, and expecting our first babe. But oh, how things change! Now, here I am, married with three kiddos, realizing that life rarely follows our scripts.

But hey, that's the beauty of it, right? We're all just trying to navigate this crazy journey called motherhood. So, hi again! It's me, embracing what I've always loved, just with a few more years and a couple more kids under my belt.

As we emerge from the baby and toddler trenches, I'm bursting with stories to share. From surviving pregnancy to navigating the newborn haze, tackling the toddler years, and rediscovering myself amidst the chaos—I'm here for it all.
